Mokopuna maori arts & Taamoko

Rawiri is best known for his ataahua Whakairo, wood carvings, but lately he's been exploring a new medium - Uku mahi (clay work).

Self - taught and always eager to learn, he's been building confidence with each new piece.

It's inspiring to see how his creativity continues to grow as he shapes new forms from Papatuanuku herself.
